Taxi rank provision
There are six taxi ranks within Watford, which are situated on Clarendon Road, Albert Road South, New Street, Lower High Street, Watford Junction Station and Rickmansworth Road (between 8pm and 6am).
The rank on Clarendon Road can hold up to a maximum of five cars, Albert Road South four cars, New Street six cars, Lower High Street three cars, Watford Junction Station 13 cars and Rickmansworth Road 12 cars.
Saloon vehicle type hackney carriages are licensed to carry up to four passengers. London Style vehicles are designed to carry up to five passengers and so are licensed to carry this number.
