Household waste - garden waste

All the green waste we collect from your green wheeled bin is sent to our partners at West London Composting, to be turned into nutrient rich compost!

We will:

  • Collect your green waste bin every other week - please refer to your refuse/recycling calendar (with the exception of Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays)
  • Advertise well in advance any changes to the collection service
  • Provide each household with a green waste wheelie bin
  • Provide additional green waste bins if requested
  • Replace your bin back on the boundary of your property
  • Ensure your street is left clean and tidy following the waste collection (no spillages)
  • Provide assisted collections for the elderly and infirm upon application
  • On the rare occasions we miss your collection, we will collect your bin within 48hrs of reporting

You can help us by:

  • Putting your green bin on the front boundary of your property (by 6am on the morning of collection)
  • Separating your waste correctly ensuring no contamination (please refer to listings below)
