recycling and waste collection services

Recycling and waste collection services in Watford are provided by Veolia Environmental services.  Your black domestic bin and blue lidded recycling bin are collected every week.  Your green bin is collected fortnightly. Please ensure your bins are left on the front boundary of your property by 6 am on your scheduled collection day.

If your bin has been missed, or if you need to check your bin collection day, please contact us on 0203 5676 900 (during office hours) or email within 24 hours of your collection day.

Free compost for Watford residents!

To say thank you to Watford residents for recycling, we are giving away free bags of compost on Thursday 14th May between 2pm and 4pm.

Anyone who lives in Watford is welcome to come along to the depot on Wiggenhall Road (WD18 0FB) to pick some bags of high quality compost. This is made from the green waste we collect every fortnight via your kerbside recycling scheme.
