Bank Holiday parking enforcement
Parking throughout the borough is enforced on Bank Holidays.
As host to a regional shopping centre and both a professional football and rugby club, Watford experiences heavy demands on its on-street parking facilities on Bank Holidays. As a result, an enforcement service is provided in order to protect the residential streets near the Town Centre and to keep main approach roads and shopping centre service roads free from congestion.
In the Controlled Parking Zone, zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, S and T are enforced on Bank Holidays between 8am and 6.30pm.
Zone M/N is only enforced on Bank Holidays when first team football and rugby matches are being played at the Vicarage Road Stadium. On these occasions, enforcement is carried out between 1pm and 6.30pm. Further information regarding upcoming matches can be found on the Match Day Parking page.
