Emergencies
Responding to emergencies is usually the task of a number of agencies, including local authorities, and will in most instances be led by the police or one of the other emergency services.
Out of hours contact for Council
The Customer Service Centre is open for calls from 8.30am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Any out of hours emergency calls should be directed to the same main switchboard number: 01923 226400.

Gas
If you smell gas, please call the gas emergency number on tel: 0800 111 999.
Electricity
If your power supply is interrupted please contact local suppliers EDF Energy on tel: 0800 783 8838.
Floodline
If you wish to get details on flooding, please call tel: 0845 988 1188.
