Commercial waste and recycling
Watford Borough Council provides a trade waste service for local businesses in the town.
Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, it is the responsibility of businesses to ensure that trade waste is disposed of correctly. Disposal of commercial or trade waste is not included in business rates. For more information please use the navigation categories on the left hand side.
The council does not collect building/construction materials or hazardous waste.
We are pleased to be able to offer trade waste recycling - cardboard and glass - to businesses in the town.
There is no hire charge for the recycling bins – only for collection. For more information please contact our recycling team on tel: 01923 235946 or email: environmentalservices@watford.gov.uk
