Animal welfare
Watford Borough Council are responsible for enforcing legislation relating to animals; visiting premises where animals are kept and licensing animal related establishments.
We also have a statutory responsibility for the control of stray dogs, and for noise control (barking dogs) under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Whatever your animal related problem or question, our staff will always try and help, or put you in touch with somebody who can.
