Sure Start Children’s Centres are places where children under 5 years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information, and where they can access help from multi-disciplinary teams of professionals. Hertfordshire is part of a government scheme to provide more free time at nursery and pre-school and make it more flexible. This means free pre-school and nursery early years places for 3 and 4 year olds.
