The council lets a large amount of contracts in various categories using a number of different suppliers.

Managing these contracts appropriately helps make sure the council's rate payers receive value for money for services provided by the council.

We have a Contract Manager who acts as the focal point between the contractor and the Council proactively managing our interests in relation to the contract. The Contract Manager manages the contracts in accordance with best practice guidelines to ensure that we achieve maximum value and thus maximise service delivery.
