Councillors are elected by Watford residents to act as representatives for the Watford area.

Elected representatives

Watford Borough Council has 36 Councillors and an elected Mayor, each of whom is elected for a 4-year term of office to represent the people of Watford.  There are 12 wards in Watford, with 3 councillors for each ward.

There are 4 political parties represented on the council -

  • The Liberal Democrat Party
  • The Conservative Party
  • The Green Party
  • The Labour Party
