Citizen panels

Watford's Citizens' Panel is made up of 1200 local residents, all from different neighbourhoods, age groups and ethnic backgrounds. All Panel members have been randomly selected to take part.

Each year, Panel members are asked to complete questionnaires about important issues in Watford. Since it was set up in 2002, the Panel has responded to surveys on issues such as Watford's Community Plan, customer contact with the Council, waste and recycling services, the future of the Colosseum, community safety and improving Watford town centre.

Does the Panel make a difference?

The answer to this is definitely yes! Results of all the surveys are studied and used by the Mayor and Cabinet and the Council's senior managers to help them make decisions and plan services that meet your needs.  Feedback on recent Citizens' Panel consultations can be found in the newsletter to the bottom of this page.
