We aim to make it easy for local residents, visitors and businesses to find out about our services and policies and have a say about how they are developed.
We have a duty to explain to local residents how we spend their money and how well we're providing services, as well as ensure that they can find out who's making decisions and why.
Sometimes the council gets things wrong and we aim to explain why this has happened and what we are doing about it.
