Business rates - account enquiries
You must pay your business rates according to the instalments shown on your bill.
If you miss an instalment, we will send you a reminder notice. As long as you pay within the time limit shown on the reminder, and pay the remaining instalments promptly, we will take no further action. (But please remember that paying within the month may not be enough: you must pay on the date shown on the bill.)
A monthly Direct Debit from your bank account is usually the easiest method of payment. All instalments will be collected on the first of the month. If you wish to pay by this method, please contact the Revenues and Benefits team on tel: 01923 226400.
