Advice and benefits
Watford Borough Council is committed to offering its customers first class help and assistance. As part of this we are committed to making it easier for people to claim and be paid the benefits they receive, in addition to offering simple and easy ways of paying your Council Tax.
Our aim is to provide you with help and information as efficiently and quickly as possible, even when it is about a service not run directly by the Council.
We also aim to offer you a number of ways of accessing the information you need.
Changes to Revenues & Benefits Contact Hours
The current economic climate has put an extra pressure on the Revenues & Benefits service and we are changing the way we work so that we can meet this challenge. As a result, the times that the Revenues & Benefits will be available to take queries from the General Public on any Council Tax, Business Rate or Benefit matters are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8.45 to 5.15
Wednesday - 8.45 to 12.00 noon
Friday - 8.45 - 4.45
If your query is urgent then the Council’s Customer Service Team will be available on 01923 226400.
We thank you for your patience at this busy time.
