Watford Borough Council is committed to offering its customers first class help and assistance. As part of this we are committed to making it easier for people to claim and be paid the benefits they receive, in addition to offering simple and easy ways of paying your Council Tax.
Our aim is to provide you with help and information as efficiently and quickly as possible, even when it is about a service not run directly by the Council.
We also aim to offer you a number of ways of accessing the information you need.

If you can't meet your mortgage repayments, or you're worried you might fall behind, you can get free independent advice from other organisations and you may be able to get help with your mortgage from new schemes which started in early 2009
