World Community Arts Day in Watford

Watford Borough Council has organised a series of free workshops to celebrate World Community Arts Day on Wednesday 17 February.

All are welcome to join in with these fun, Chinese themed activities, which kick off in Charter Place at 1pm with Chinese craft workshops.

Then from 2 - 4pm at Watford Central Library, there is the opportunity to make your very own lantern. All the materials for the lanterns are being supplied free of charge by WRAP – Watford Recycling Arts Project.

To finish off the day there will be a display of all the lanterns at the pond at the top of town from 5-6pm, accompanied by Chinese dance and music.
