Half term workshops at Watford Museum

Watford Museum is holding a series of art and craft workshops for young people aged between 8 and 12 years old. These popular sessions take place in a relaxed and creative environment, using a wide range of recycled materials under artistic supervision.
On Thursday 18 February, the session is called ‘Sock cats and dogs’. Watch a magical transformation take place as an odd, unloved sock is transformed into a brand new pet to take home. Then on Friday 19 February, children can make their very own beanie buddy hats, using felt, buttons, trimmings and anything else in the Museum’s box of recycled delights! All workshops run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and are suitable for 8-12 year olds – boys and girls. The cost is £6 per person, £4 with an Everyone Active card, and booking is essential.
