The CAB Online Advice Guide website is the main public information service of Citizens Advice, providing people with round-the-clock access to CAB information on their rights – including benefits, housing and employment, and on debt, consumer and legal issues. Alternatively, you can contact your local CAB Office - CAB Watford.

Connexions provides advice and support for all those aged between 13 and 19. It also provides support to the age of 25 for young people who have learning difficulties or disabilities (or both).

Debt Advice Foundation is a registered national debt advice and education charity offering free, confidential support and advice to anyone wanting to get out of debt.  As a charity, the advice given is impartial and based solely on what is best for you.

A free Debt Management Plan (DMP) is available from StepChange Debt Charity. If you are considering a DMP to help with your debt problem, make sure you get some free, professional advice first to find out if it is the best solution for you. You need never pay for a DMP. Many debt management companies charge fees - sometimes up to £5,000 for arranging debt management plans. StepChange Debt Charity offer the same service for free.
