Watford character of area study (December 2011)
The Watford character of area study (COAS) was adopted by the Council on the 5 December 2011.
This document is a spatial study which follows a structure based on broad historical character types. The breakdown of different character areas across the Borough, as well as green spaces, is detailed through a general map at the start of the document. The study then provides detail on the characteristics of each individual character area in the Borough, while there is an index for locating individual streets.
