Sustainable development - travel plans
We want to encourage residents and local businesses to take pride in the town and to live and operate in a more sustainable way.
It is our aim to demonstrate to other organisations in the town what can be achieved and to lead the way on green travel initiatives.
Green travel planning starts with our policy commitment. Our Green Travel Plan includes proposals for a wide range of practical measures to make it easier for everyone in the council to meet the challenges of sustainable transport.
