Watford Palace Theatre
Originally built in 1908, Watford Palace Theatre has been a thriving entertainment venue for almost 100 years.
Thanks to the continued support of Watford Borough Council and Arts Council England East the theatre is able to work with up and coming writers to develop new work, as well as bringing top actors and directors to the town to present more well known pieces.
Watford Palace Theatre is a busy producing theatre creating, on average, ten brand new productions each year. Watford Palace Theatre productions regularly tour the country and occasionally transfer to the West End, but Watford audiences can see them here first (at a fraction of the cost).

From 30 April 2011 there will also be a selection of films shown alongside the palace’s theatrical output.
