Watford Colosseum
Since opening in 1994, Watford Colosseum has become the premier multi-purpose venue in Hertfordshire.
The venue has a renowned international reputation due to the fine acoustics within the main auditorium. There are ongoing bookings for classical recordings from companies such as the BBC Concert Orchestra, EMI, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, BMG, Sony and Philips. Conductors such as John Eliot Gardiner and John Williams, and orchestras like the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra are all regular users of the Colosseum.
The Colosseum is also a perfect venue for conferences, exhibitions and product launches as well as weddings and private parties. Facilities include a fully licensed bar, two venue halls, dressing rooms, a large kitchen and ample parking facilities (for parking charges see related items ). There is also a large stage with full lighting system.
