2011 Green Flag award winner, for the fifth consecutive year!

All Green Flag Award-winning parks and green spaces were entered into the annual poll, which saw thousands of people voting for their favourite green space. At number three in the UK top ten is Cassiobury Park, receiving hundreds of votes from the park’s users.

Entrances to Cassiobury Park are located in Rickmansworth Road, Shepherds Road, Gade Avenue and Parkside Drive.

The park, Watford's largest at approximately 77 hectares, is just across the road from the Watford station on the Metropolitan Line, and is approximately a 20 minute walk from Watford Junction.  There is a small car park just off Gade Avenue, and on street parking, although some restrictions do apply.  Some bus routes service the park and adjacent streets, both the 352 and W30 routes stop at the Watford Metropolitan station.  For those visitors with a SatNav, the postcode WD18 7LH will get you to the entrance to Gade Avenue car park.
