What constitutes commercial waste?
The Environmental Protection Act 1990 defines commercial/trade waste as waste from premises used for a trade or business or for the purposes of sport, recreation or entertainment. Under the Environment Protection Act 1990 section 34 producers of commercial waste have a duty to ensure that their waste is disposed of legally.
